Tori Egherman lived and worked in Iran for four years starting from 2003. While there, she wrote regularly for the blog View from Iran. She is a writer and researcher who has published widely on subjects as diverse as the Weimar Republic and the Islamic Republic. She is currently working with Arseh Sevom, an organization dedicated to promoting civil society in Iran and related communities, and writing a series of short stories about life in Iran.
