One of the subjects that I am interested in exploring is my identity as an earthling. I hope to rediscover processes that connect me with my biological being, a being dependant of this planet.

The Fibonacci numbers are composed by adding the 2 previous digits to create a third: 0+1= 1, 1 +1= 2, 1+2=3, 2 +3= 5, etc. This serie can be found in nature, especially among plants: the number of petals in a flower, the disposition of leaves around the plant’s stems, the distribution of branches in some trees.

This connection between nature and numbers is what I use in my paintings, I aply those numbers to create compositions (form, color and sometimes sound) in an effort to expose us to natures growing rhythms.
